About Us

Urgent Needs.

Steps TowardStability.

Hope Restored Missions helps clients and families with food, clothing, hygiene items, ID replacement, housing guidance, job support, health connections, street outreach, and partner referrals.

Help is only the beginning.

At Hope Restored Missions, people come in needing support and often leave with a clearer path, stronger footing, and hope they can carry forward.

A meal, an ID, a phone call, or a conversation can become the first step toward stability, confidence, and a different future.

What We Do

Three Ways Hope Shows Up

Through our walk-in Resource Center,  street outreach, and mission work, we help people access basic needs, guidance, and connections that can make the next step possible.

Resource Center
Visit our Plano Resource Center for intake, meals, clothing, hygiene items, mail access, phone and computer use, ID help, housing guidance, and case management.
Street Outreach
Our outreach team meets people in the community with food, water, hygiene items, clothing, helpful information, and a path back to the Resource Center.
Missions
Our mission work supports local and international communities through service, training, education, and hands-on support.

Who We Serve

Serving People Across North Texas

People come from across North Texas because they need more than a referral. They need someone to listen, help sort through the details, and walk with them toward stability.

Our Resource Center is located in Plano, but people come to us from cities throughout the region because they need more than a list of phone numbers. We serve clients across Collin County, Dallas County, and nearby communities through relationship-based support, practical assistance, and partner connections.

Clients come to us from communities including:

Our Story

A Mission Built Around People

Hope Restored Missions began in the spring of 2019.

Our founder, Dr. Tamara Monroe, began a faith walk and partnered with three other servant leaders to form this organization. She saw a need for more resources and urgency to serve those most in need; the impoverished and the unhoused.

Since its grassroots launch, Hope Restored Missions has been the first point of contact for many vulnerable individuals facing housing insecurity in our Collin County and North Texas communities. The majority of our organization is staffed by volunteers who come from all around the DFW metroplex. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, with a wide variety of backgrounds, and all seek to come alongside our unsheltered neighbors in order to help them overcome barriers and restore hope to reach their full potential with self-sustaining, purposeful lives.

As word has spread about our services, we have seen a significant increase in the number of people seeking help.

With our core of dedicated volunteers, we have supported over 8,100 individuals on their journey to securing housing, gaining access to medical/mental healthcare, building employability skills, and regaining wellness and stability.

We do not have any service eligibility requirements; we will help anyone who comes through our doors. If the person needs specialized care that we cannot provide, we will refer them to another service provider with whom we have a working partnership.

Aside from meeting material and service needs, we strive to develop relationships with our clients and provide a sense of community and belonging… something they tell us over and over again that gives them hope.

What Sets Us Apart

What Makes Us Different

Hope Restored Missions does more than point people toward help. We take time to understand what is happening, build trust, and walk with clients through the next steps.

We believe real support starts when people are known, heard, and treated with dignity. Our team takes time to listen, learn each person’s story, and understand what is really happening before helping them move forward.

A person may come to us for food, clothing, housing guidance, or identification support, but there is often more underneath the surface. We ask questions, pay attention, and help clients sort through the pieces that may be affecting their stability.

When life feels overwhelming, even one step can feel hard to find. We help clients understand what options may be available, what needs to happen next, and who can walk with them through the process.

No one organization can meet every need alone. Our partners help expand what is possible by offering supplies, services, referrals, volunteers, funding, and community support that help clients move forward.

People are not defined by a hard season, a missing document, a housing need, or a past mistake. We meet each person as someone worthy of respect, practical help, and a place to begin again.

Some needs cannot be solved in one visit. When clients are facing housing barriers, missing identification, job loss, health concerns, or family pressure, we stay with the process. We help sort through what matters most, connect the right pieces, and keep working toward the next available step.

Talk With Someone Who Will Listen

If you are facing a difficult season, you do not have to know exactly what to ask for. Tell us what is happening, and we will listen with respect, ask the right questions, and help you find a place to begin.
